Works complete at Terminal 3
This week we achieved significant milestone at Project QuayLink, with Wednesday 8 July marking the successful completion of the main maritime works package at Terminal 3 by our contractors, Hazell Brady Joint Venture.
TasPorts has now completed its main package of works at Terminal 3 to support the development of the new home for Spirit of Tasmania.
Over the past 17 months, hundreds of dedicated workers and over 120 Tasmanian businesses have come together to deliver a brand new wharf, berth pocket and reclaimed land to accommodate the arrival of the new Spirit of Tasmania vessels.
TasPorts CEO, Anthony Donald said, "I am incredibly proud of what we've achieved together. This new terminal represents a critical piece of marine infrastructure that will play a vital role in shaping the future of Devonport's tourism and trade sectors.
"I would like to thank everyone across TasPorts who have contributed in countless ways. Your dedication and support have been invaluable. Special recognition goes out to the Major Projects Team who consistently went above and beyond to ensure the project's smooth operation."
