TasPorts, Spirit of Tasmania and the Hazell Brady Joint Venture have signed a formal Construction Charter for the $240 million Project Quaylink, committing the signatories to providing a safe and healthy work environment during the length of the project.

TasPorts CEO Anthony Donald said the charter also provided a commitment from the parties to protect the local marine and coastal environment during construction.
