Terminal 2

QuayLink is one of Tasmania's largest port infrastructure redevelopments, delivering a program of works to rebuild and modernise the Port of Devonport. As part of this program, TasPorts will upgrade and improve wharf infrastructure to support port operations for one of Tasmania’s largest shipping and freight logistics providers, SeaRoad.

These works, which are dedicated to Terminal 2 in East Devonport will increase the longevity of the wharf infrastructure, deliver efficiencies across port operations and ultimately increase Devonport’s freight capacity by 40 per cent.

Works will commence in April 2026 and run until February 2027.

TasPorts is partnering with major freight operator, SeaRoad and Tasmanian owned design and construction company BridgePro Engineering to deliver these essential works.

Critical port operations will be maintained during delivery of these works.
