Bass Island Line | John Duigan operations

John Duigan remains operational at this time, however further investigations are necessary to determine any issues impacting the performance of the vessel.

As such, John Duigan will be entering dry dock next week.

TasPorts will continue to fulfil the freight task as usual using the King Islander on charter for an interim period.

TasPorts understands safe and reliable shipping is vital to the King Island Community and is satisfied these arrangements will ensure the continuity of freight services.
