Fleet

TasPorts has a number of vessels in our fleet, capable of delivering a range of services across Tasmania. Our core functions include harbour towage, pilotage, and lines operations.

Our towage fleet can undertake emergency towage and salvage work, as well as provide assistance and service runs for offshore platforms and exploration equipment. While our lines and workboats are able to undertake a variety of tasks in the movement of personnel and equipment within sheltered waters.

TasPorts also has the capability to provide marine management and manning services, offshore tug and barge towage services for general or specialist cargo, and can facilitate ship repair and maintenance services. Our floating plant is suitable for jobs including coastal towages of large and/or heavy items and the ability to act as a large stable work platform for specialist functions.
