TasPorts Acting Chief Executive Trent Burke said supporting customers to unlock potential was integral to the organisation.

“Mures has been part of the Hobart hospitality landscape for more than half a century, having expanded significantly since its established by Jill and George Mure in 1973,” he said.

“Its iconic footprint on the Hobart waterfront is synonymous with fresh Tasmanian seafood and local produce, and I am pleased we have been able to continue to provide a long-term leasing partnership, which will see the establishment go from strength to strength.

“I would like to acknowledge TasPorts’ commercial team, which remains focused on securing outcomes that benefit Tasmanians, our economy and community.”

Renovations to Mures Fish Centre are now underway, which include improvements to the accessibility of the building and interior refurbishment of the Upper Deck. Mures Fish Centre features three seafood restaurants, Pearl & Co, Mures Lower Deck and Mures Upper Deck, a fishmonger’s retail outlet, and is soon to welcome their newest venue Kelp Bar, to be launched after the completion of the renovations.
