TasPorts is committed to operating in a socially responsible way, supporting the sustainable economic and social development of Tasmania. Through our Community Grant Program, we invest in initiatives that deliver lasting benefits to the people and communities connected to our ports.

Since launching in 2022, the TasPorts Community Grant Program has provided over $350,000 to support projects that promote community participation, improve marine safety, preserve maritime heritage and work to protect and restore marine and coastal environments.

Now in its eighth round, the program has awarded almost $50,000 in funding to 12 successful applicants, along with in-kind support. These grants will help fund marine safety and accessibility initiatives, strengthen school and community programs, and support much-loved local events.
